Trimming A Beard

Growing a beard can really change your look, hopefully for the better. You do however need to maintain your beard so you will need to keep it trimmed. It is not that hard to do. This hub will teach you how to trim your beard.

Before you begin to trim your beard decide on what look you are going for.

The first thing you want to do is shave the way you normally do including the exposed parts of cheeks and neck. Make sure you then wash off all the shaving cream.

Now you want to slightly wet your beard.

To trim your beard you can use either scissors or a beard trimmer.

Make sure that you are conservative with your clipping around the beard's upper edges.

Snip around cheeks and along the jawline. Clip very little, reducing the beard's volume slowly to the desired length.

You want to clip any stray hairs until the beard is even.

Wash away clippings.

Trim your mustache, if applicable.
