Swerving A Snooker Ball

Snooker is a great sport and one you can play either casually or take more seriously. To be a master at snooker you need to practice a lot and learn some of the more tricky shots. One shot that can be useful is being able to swerve a snooker ball. This hub will teach you how to swerve a snooker ball.

Tips For Swerving A Snooker Ball

Before playing or practicing snooker you want to warm up justlike with any sport. Stretch your muscles and back.

Take the cue ball and place it in the center of the table. You also want to have an object ball on there as well. You are going to be practicing spinning and follow through.

With the cue place the tip in the center of the cue ball. Now move the cue tip left or right by one cue tip width.

Now hit the ball slowly and gently. Take note of how both balls react. You should see them spinning. If you really want to make the balls spin then practice following through on the shot. If you put right spin on the cue ball, you are putting left spin on the object ball. The spin will change direction every time the cue ball or object ball hits something.

Well done you can now swerve a snooker ball.
