A shed is something that is in a lot of peoples gardens. Sometimes though especially when you buy a new place you may decide that the shed is not in the right place so you want to move it. Well just how do you do that? This hub has a few simple tips for moving a shed.
Tips For Moving A Shed
If you are moving a long distance then with a tarp you should cover the shingles. Your shed will be In better shape following the transportation if you do this first.
Know you need to be able to get to the corners of the shed. So get digging and dig out under the corners so that you can access them enough to get some jacks under there.
Next comes a big lift. You want to get the shed about two spans above the ground. You need to do this so there is enough space that will allow you to place the moving building.
You need to find some long pipes and bind them together. You place these bounded pipes under the shed.
Locate a space in the middle of one of the walls and tie a hook to it. You then connect from the hook to a truck or car that you will use to move the shed.
At the bottom of the shed you need to put down some wheels. Make sure they are fixed securely.
You shed will now roll easily when it is pulled. Make sure that the route you are taking is clear so that the shed will move along it with no obstacles in the way.
When you reach the new place you want to install the shed unhook it from the vehicle and then slowly release the shed onto the ground.
