How To Inflate Car Tires

First off find a gas station or garage. Obviously you want to find one that has pressurized air with a gauge.

Now park your car next to the air station making sure the hose will reach all four tires.

Locate the air-pressure specifications for your car's tires. You will often find this on a sticker located on the driver's side doorjamb or in the glove box or trunk.

Next you need to remove the plastic cap on the air valve. Put this in a place where you will not lose it such as your pocket.

Now you need to check the air pressure of the tire using the gas station air pump. You press the gauge against the valve and hold it down firmly. Should you hear a hissing sound you need to press down harder as this sound is the air coming out.

Next you can start to add air. Press the air pump hose on the valve while squeezing the lever on the end of the hose.

Again you need to check the air pressure with the gauge.

Should you happen to over inflate the tires then just deflate them as necessary. To do this you simply press down on the small needle in the center of the valve to let air out.
