Actress Helen Hunt

Helen Hunt is a fabulous actress. She really came to the fore when she had several years on the sitcom Mad about You in the 90's. I have been a longtime fan of hers. She was brilliant in mad About You but has also gone on to appear in some very good movies. Ones I particularly like are "As Good As It Gets" and "Twister".

Helen Hunt has received a number of awards in her career. She won Emmy Awards for Mad About You in: 1996,97,98 and 99.

She won the best actress academy award in 1998 for "As Good As It Gets".

Something to note is that Helen Hunt is the only actress to win four consecutive Emmys. An outstanding achievement.

The movie plot is, A New York schoolteacher hits a midlife crisis when, in quick succession, her husband leaves, her adoptive mother dies and her real one, an eccentric talk show host, materializes and turns her life upside down as she begins a courtship with the father of one of her students.
